Today was our last day in Seville, but it was hot and we were pretty burnt out from the big day yesterday. Benton and Yilinn got up earlier than Allan and left to get pastries. We got 3 empanadas, 1 sugar bun, and 1 chocolate croissant for 6 bucks, and then hung out at a park, where we saw a morbidly obese dachshund. Yilinn and Benton went to walk around an abandoned amusement park (near Antena Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias Expo 92), while Allan searched for some classical guitar strings to bring back to the states.
For lunch, we went back to the tapas bar near the Airbnb (Bar San Lorenzo), but this time we chose our own dishes. Benton chose to order baby eels on toast (it was not good, looked like Medusa and did not taste good 🤡), dish number 2 had nuts (Yilinn can’t eat), and the other 2 dishes were both just cheese. Overall calories were consumed, but it was a strange meal.
For dinner, we decided it would be good to cook a nice pasta dinner with lots of vegetables. Dinner was nice, and we ate on the roof watching the swallows fly around while the sun was setting.
After work, Benton and Yilinn decided to walk around the water part of Seville (Allan was tired and stayed back to sleep, but instead stayed up reading, and was still up when Benton and Yilinn got back). Benton and Yilinn made it all the way from the Airbnb (C/ Juan Rabadán, 40), to Plaza de España, before renting electric scooters and riding them back along the bike path. Benton was a big fan of the scooter.
