Bus to San Sebastian + First Day of Work

This day was a bit compressed (not a ton happened due to work + travel + getting up late), but the summary is as follows:

We got up (late), headed to the Bilbao bus terminal (15 minute walk or so), grabbed pastries, and then got to enjoy a super scenic 1.5 hour bus along the coast to San-Sebastien.

We arrived around noon, grabbed lunch, and then walked to the Airbnb (our Airbnb was near Plaza Txalupagillene, so close proximity to the beach). Today was the first day of work, so this was pretty much all that we did exploration wise. Work was pretty uneventful, though Yilinn discovered that the “setting up a virtual machine” process hadn’t been very flushed out at her company (i.e. git didn’t seem to come with the standard install).

For dinner, Yilinn and Elizabeth walked to get takeout pizza, and while in line, got cut by a local 🤷. Pizza was still acquired.

After work finished around 11pm, Allan + David went to bed early, Yilinn continued to work (a busy co-worker was finally free to help), and Benton + Elizabeth went for a pretty long walk by the beach to the other side of town. On the far side of the beach, there was a playground that seemed quite dangerous (see picture of Elizabeth going down the “slide”).
