This day was a bit compressed (not a ton happened due to work + travel + getting up late), but the summary is as follows: We got up (late), headed to the Bilbao bus terminal (15 minute walk or so), grabbed pastries, and then got to enjoy a super scenic 1.5 hour bus along the coast to San-Sebastien. We arrived around noon, grabbed lunch, and then walked to the Airbnb (our Airbnb was near Plaza Txalupagillene, so close proximity to the beach)....
Today was amazing weather. In the morning, Benton went for a run, Yilinn + Elizabeth went for a separate run at the same time, and then we all met up for a post run coffee. After coffee, we went back to the Airbnb, changed into swimsuits, and headed to the beach (Allan and David also came to the beach, but did not change into swimsuits). After arriving at the beach, Allan and David wandered off to go up a funicular....
Knowing that the weather would be bad on this day, we stayed up late the night before, planning to spend the shorter day shopping to avoid the cold/rain. Part of this plan was smart; the weather was in fact rainy and cold. However, we didn’t realize that Spanish labor day was today, so nearly all of the shops, including most of the grocery stores, were closed. Yilinn, Benton, and Elizabeth got coffee/pastries in the old town (even without Allan, we managed to order in Spanish without too many difficulties)....
